Backe Ski Resort
Industry identity System
The goal was to pick a service industry, create a company, and create an identity suite for that company. After choosing the ski resort industry, Backe Ski resort was invented. Backe Ski resort brings a level of luxury to ski resorts. It provides a glorious amount of ski slopes, terrain parks, resort amenities, restaurants, and shops.
This project was featured in Auburn University’s 2023 Juried Design Show.

Creating a logo
The goal with Backe Ski Resort’s identity was to create a bold logo that conveys the movement that is found with skiing while also showing a certain amount of elegance to it. Backe Ski Resort is based in the Swiss Alps and the logo represents a range of the mountains where Backe Ski Resort is located. The purple was chosen to be an elegant touch to such a bold logo. It added the hint of luxury as well as allow people to be able to see workers and resort signage while on the slopes.
Now for a stationary suite
After creating an identity and a logo it is time to create a stationary suite. The stationary suite included a letterhead, envelope, as well as a business card. The goal was to create a simple yet bold and powerful combination of using the typeface and color. The use of the typography allows a sense of identity without being overbearing.
