Ordenada
Package Series of Three
Ordenada is a tequila brand that is based in Jalisco Mexico. Ordenada’s main packaging element is the blue agave plant that the tequila is made from. This packaging includes some handwritten elements to show the care and precision that is put into making each bottle of tequila. The three different bottles include tequila blanco, tequila reposado, and tequila anejo.
This project was featured in Auburn University’s 2023 Juried Design Show.

It all started with a holiday…
Día de los Muertos, commonly known as Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday that is for families to welcome back the souls of deceased relatives. On the Day of the Dead it is believed that the border between spirit world and the real world disappears, creating a chance for souls of the dead to awaken and return to the living world for a celebration. The celebration involves feasting, drinking, dancing, and playing music all with their loved ones.
Each of these bottles feature a different color to represent different factors from The Day of the Dead. The pink on the anejo bottle represents joy, the purple on the reposdado bottle represents the pain and suffering that familes go through, and finally the yellow on the blanco bottle represents marigolds and light. It is marigolds that are the flower that helps the deceased find their way back.
